Dr. Walter Mullican
Senior Pastor

Pastor Mullican began his ministry at Portland Avenue in June of 1992. His wife of 35 years and partner in ministry is Kathy. He and Kathy have six children and two grandchildren. Their oldest, Tony serves on the church staff as Minister of Students and Community Ministries. Daniel works in the field of industrial safety. Katy is a sophomore at OBU and Kristy is in her second year at Southwest Christian University in Bethany. Andrew just graduated and will be attending OSU in the fall and Amy is a sophomore at Bethany High School.

Dr. Mullican is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University receiving his B.A. in Religion in 1982. In 1986 he graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) In 2002 he graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO with his Doctor of Ministry degree.

Pastor Mullican loves to fish and bicycle and is a bona fide computer geek! He is an avid reader and loves reading about and studying the Civil War.

Tony Mullican
Minister to Students and Families

Tony and his wife Kim joined the Portland Avenue team as interim youth minister in August of 2003, and were called to the full time position of Student and Family Life Minister in July of 2004. He and his wife Kim spend their free time playing with their 5 1/2 year old son Maddox and 2 year old son, Grayson.

Tony is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and also attended Oklahoma State University. His degree is in Leisure: Camp Administration with a minor in Youth Ministry.

He loves to play frisbee golf, camp, backpack, play basketball, and hang out with Maddox, Grayson, and Kim, and to just play any crazy game with the students.

Gina McKean
Director of Preschool & Children's Ministries

Gina grew up at Portland Avenue. In 1989, she joined the PABC staff as a secretary. In 2005, she felt the Lord leading her into full-time Children's Ministry. She is currently attending Oklahoma Baptist University MTI OKC.
