We are transitioning from multiple individual mission offerings to a single, unified Portland Mission Advance Fund in order to simplify our giving, strengthen our collective impact, and steward resources more strategically. Rather than dividing our focus throughout the year, this approach allows us to give consistently and intentionally to the advance of the gospel at every level. Funds will be distributed with a clear priority: 60% to international missions (Lottie Moon), supporting the spread of the gospel among the nations; 25% to national missions (Annie Armstrong), strengthening gospel work across the country; 10% to state missions (Edna McMillan), advancing ministry efforts closer to home; and 5% to church planting, investing in the establishment of new, gospel-preaching churches.

LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING

​The International Mission Board runs the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, an annual campaign where Southern Baptist churches give specifically to support global missions. Every dollar goes directly to overseas missionaries, covering needs like salaries, housing, travel, and ministry work. It makes up a major portion of the IMB’s funding and is focused on one goal: taking the gospel to unreached people groups around the world.

ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING

​The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is an annual giving campaign led by the North American Mission Board to support missionaries serving across the United States and Canada. Named after missions advocate Annie Armstrong, 100% of the funds go directly to church planting, evangelism, and ministry efforts throughout North America, helping bring the gospel to communities locally and nationally.

EDNA MCMILLAN STATE MISSIONS

​The Edna McMillan State Missions Offering is an annual offering given by Oklahoma Baptists to support mission work across the state. Named after missions advocate Edna McMillan, the fund helps finance church planting, disaster relief, evangelism, and ministry efforts throughout Oklahoma. Like the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering supports international missions, this offering is focused on meeting needs and sharing the gospel locally within the state.
